Week-end Gateway to Arusha National Park & Makoa Waterfalls

Stan Tours and Aid into Africa are asking you to join us in helping the many orphans living in Dar Es Salaam. Our aim is to raise the funds to open the very first Food Bank in Dar Es Salaam to assist these poor mites. For every person that books with us 100$ will be turned into food to enable us to drive this unique project forward to reach it’s goals.

Yes please join us for this all-inclusive package for a two-night stay at the luxurious Protea Hotel Aishi Machame situated on the famous Machame ascent to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. It is 37km drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport or 20 minutes drive from Moshi town. The hotels 30 bedrooms have all been completely refurbished to the Protea Hotel’s Group International Standard.

Protea Hotel Aishi with an air of country elegance is surrounded by coffee and banana plantations and set within lush gardens at the bottom which flows a fast moving river of melted glacial water from the mountain.

Day 1: - Friday; Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by Stan Tours driver-guide/Manager and transfer you to the hotel simply sit back and enjoy the splendour Aishi as to offer, yes it’s a far cry from the hustle and the bustle of the city life. Overnight at Protea Aishi Machame, full board.

Day 2: - Saturday; After breakfast with your packed lunch, Stan Tours will be taking you on safari and will be driven for an hour to reach Arusha National Park which lies at the foot of Mount Meru. Your game drive will start as you enter the main entrance gate and proceed up to Ngurdoto Crater where giraffes, eland, buffalo, Elephants, Warthog, Waterbuck and Colabous Monkey can be viewed and Momella Lake which will welcome you with their prolific bird life and might hippo. Later in the evening drive back to Protea Aishi Hotel for your overnight, full board.

Day 3: - Sunday; breakfast at the hotel then depart for 20min hike on some 3km from the hotel to Makoa Waterfalls. Whilst admiring the 10 meters high waterfalls one gets the opportunity to witness the indigenous people conducting their daily activities. Please note the photograph you are viewing as taken from Makoa Falls by an aid work for Aid into Africa back in 2004 whilst on a project helping the children of Kilimanjaro. Of course you will have to make up your own minds to the image you are seeing? Could be it Jesus Christ?? Once back form the falls the reminder of the day is yours until you are transferred back to the airport to catch your flight back home.
